Hello shinshuinbloom and Elie!
It’s no bother at all! We wish you much luck with your Kickstarter!
… and with that, at #192, we have our final submission for the 2014 Animal Crossing Art Collab. Thank you so much to both the artists and the supporters! The past 5 months have been incredible for everyone here at AC-AC, and it’s all thanks to you!
We are planning to do this again come 2015, and we’ll definitely announce in advance the date the sign-up form opens again. We may also open the doors for others to officially join the AC-AC Crew, so keep your eyes peeled for that, too!
In the meantime, we’d still love to see and show off your art! If you have any Animal Crossing related fanart to show us, tag it as “Animal Crossing Art Collab” and we’ll definitely check it out!
While our email inbox will remain open, the best way to get in contact with us from here on out will definitely be here on tumblr. We’ll still answer your questions!
Speaking of tumblr, expect a bit of an overhaul over the next couple of weeks as we clear out old information and sort the 2014 submissions onto their own page. Of course, they’ll still remain on our timeline, but this way they can be much more accessible for anyone looking specifically for the submissions from this year.
While we’re on the topic of “looking for the submissions”, we mentioned when this first started that the art submitted may be arranged on a poster. Artists who participated in the art collab will be emailed a digital copy of the poster when it is completed first, before it is released for free download here. We’re still working out details, so more info to come on that.
So, again, thank you so, so much. The amount of encouragement that has been happening in and around this blog has been phenomenal, and we’re blown away and deeply humbled by the incredible array of talented and creative artists who decided to give our little art collab a shot. We look forward to keep presenting to you quality Animal Crossing posts, and hope you keep joining us!
